The best thing about attending a Myrrh Mens’ Retreat is being in the presence of the Holy Spirit, both while worshipping with others, and in solitary alone time. It’s a time to be open and honest with ourselves. And to be with other men who encourage us, while in a confidential and safe atmosphere. Come and meet with God where you’re at and go home refreshed.

We have a tendency to get caught up in our own day to day activities. We read the scripture, and we pray to God. Our place as men is to lead, provide for and to protect our family. We try so hard to check the boxes. God rested, Jesus rested, and yet we feel as though we can continue without the rest. God has given us instruction to gather together and praise him. Myrrh Ministries has put together opportunities for men to gather, in an environment in which you can rest and worship with others. The retreats allow you to hear God’s word being shared and time to reflect on what God is revealing to you. No matter what has happened or is happening in your life, God is looking to have a conversation with you. When you take time to stop and listen, the clarity will provide you with a new outlook on his plans for you.

One of the best things I ever did! I’m referring to the Men’s Retreat hosted by MYRRH Ministries. The accommodations were great, food was awesome, but the fellowship was incredible! Our God showed up amongst a great group of men, of which many I had just met. If you’re on the fence about going, do it! I have never regretted attending and you’ll get fed, physically and spiritually. Great speakers and worship! Get out of your comfort zone and do it!

It has helped me with my walk and personal relationships. They helped me understand the importance of slowing down and taking time to spend with our father and in his Word!

Myrrh’s men’s retreats are always an excellent experience. There’s just something awesome about getting away from the hassle of life and meeting with a group of men with a common goal of becoming better men. The retreats are the perfect balance of worship time, teaching the word, and rest/recreation time. The teaching is always biblically spot on, brought by down to earth men who have the same struggles as the attendees. No judgement, no hell, fire and brimstone, just solid teaching by men who have been through, or are still facing, the same challenges as the men in attendance. The camaraderie of a small group of men seeking the Lord produces far better growth than any large men’s conference I’ve ever attended. On top of that, there is always excellent fellowship and great food. Whether you need to be a better husband, father or just seeking to be a better follower of Christ, Myrrh’s men’s retreats have the answer you need.

I attended a MYRRH Men’s retreat a few years back. I knew one person, the guy that invited me. I was greeted with warm smiles and immediately felt at home. The guys there ranged in ages from late teens to grandparents. It was so awesome seeing such a large age range seeking the Lord. The retreat atmosphere was relaxed and very open. I felt very much at ease sharing in the sessions, and there was no judgment from anyone. As I said, I walked in knowing only one guy, but walked out with many new friends, some that I still keep in touch with. I am looking forward to going to the next one and bringing at least two guys with me. Thank you for this awesome ministry. My only complaint is that there are not as many men’s retreats.

In 2022, my family found ourselves on a journey with God that had led us from our home state of Ohio to Texas. We did not have many connections and honestly had more questions than answers as to why God called us. Through a string of circumstances and “coincidences,” a newfound friend mentioned that Myrrh Ministries was having a men’s retreat and invited me to come be a part. I was blessed to get to come with my oldest son and lead worship for the group those few days. There were great times of teaching, sweat times in God’s presence, and wonderful fellowship. It was such a refreshing time for me to unplug and focus on what really matters. I joined the group the following year and had an even more incredible time with these men. To anyone in need of connecting with the Father on a deeper and more meaningful way with a group of guys who will encourage you and lift you up, I would highly recommend attending one of Myrrh Ministries Men’s retreats! You certainly will not regret it!

A great time for relaxation and rejuvenation. It was amazing to spend time in worship and in the word with other believers. Even though we were all at different places in our walk with Jesus it didn’t impact our time or communication with each other because we all wanted to draw closer to Him. These retreats are a great place to do that.
