1 Chronicles 16:8-9   Give praise to the Lord, proclaim his name;

    make known among the nations what he has done.

Sing to him, sing praise to him; tell of all his wonderful acts.

“I have been blessed to go to 3 MYRRH Ministries.  Not only have I encountered lovely, faithful women that have helped me through burdens that were with me for years; I have tried to apply those lessons in other situations.

I look forward to the retreats when I can reconnect face to face with wonderful, strong sisters.  That is truly what each woman becomes at a MYRRH retreat.  My times there are wonderful restful times in the word yet it fills me up so much – I do think it renews me for my family.”

This ministry is such a blessing to me.  I have been to 4 of the 7 retreats that this ministry has put together.  Each year is about a different subject and each year I have come away with something that has touched my heart or was an answer to prayer.  More times than not, there is some kind of insight as to what is going on in my life at that time. I have made lifelong friends who are there for me whether I need encouragement or prayer or just someone to talk to.  I so look forward to getting together each year to reconnect with old friends, meet new ones, and find out what God has planned for me.

“I don't think I really realized when I said yes to attending my first retreat with MYRRH Ministries just how far God would walk me with this group of Sisters in Christ. I think the very first thing I noticed about the women that I met at the 3 Retreats that I've attended so far, is that they're not afraid to walk in their faith for Christ. They wholeheartedly accept anything Christ puts in their path. I find that I said yes to someone I barely knew to go to a retreat in a state I've never been at only after a long drive in a Suburban with several women I didn't even know... I should say I didn't know when we started... and the freedom that I found and being able to live completely for Christ and not being afraid of offending somebody, or not being afraid of putting someone off with my beliefs was indescribable. I think that at each of the 3 Retreats I've attended so far God has met me in a specific area of my life that he's going to walk me through. I can't say that they've been easy areas that he's chosen to walk me through. But I can say that I didn't walk through them alone...He introduced me to these Sisters in Christ to walk through this life with me....If I could give advice to someone considering attending one of these retreats, I think the best thing that I can say to you is this... say YES.... Don't doubt, don't let fear creep in, if God is calling you JUST SAY YES. I honestly believe that when God calls us to join another group of sisters who said yes, that he can walk us farther, because we have others walking along beside us helping hold us up as we help hold them up. In this group of women I found friends, sisters, comrades in this war against the dark Forces in this world. So I pray that if you even feel a tingle of a calling to attend a retreat JUST SAY YES.... I promise you, you will never regret saying YES to God, or walking this journey with these Sisters in Christ...God bless & keep y'all.”
